Exporting Godot Games for itch.io

This tutorial will cover the process of exporting godot games to a webgl format, so they can be played in-browser on sites such as itch.io. This is especially useful during game jams which are judged by voting, as voters will not need to download an external file to play your game.
This tutorial will assume you have the following resources already set up:
AN IMPORTANT NOTE
Web builds of Godot games are always built on Godot’s Compatibility renderer, which sports lower visual capabilities than Mobile and Forward+. This is mostly important when making 3D games. It is advised to test and optimize your game in the Compatibility renderer before exporting it to the web.
